Normally I find it very easy to type something up with these blog postings but currently my mind is filled with meandering thoughts and I do not know where to begin or sum it up it up for you readers. Other than my own big day I have never been overly emotional when it comes weddings. However, for some reason this wedding was different. Maybe it something to do with getting older or the simple fact of the people involved in this wedding, but something certainly touched my emotions.
Erin and I both went to high school together and through athletics we socially ran in the same crowd. Not only was she a talented basketball player but I always saw her as a true ambassador to our small town. If there was ever a book written about an individual who possessed all the great qualities of humanity, you would undoubtedly find her name. Though we have gone our separate ways since high school and do not talk on a regular basis it always seems as though we have never skipped a beat when we cross paths. I am so grateful in having her as a friend. Now let me turn my attention to Kellen. I have only had the opportunity of meeting Kellen twice, once at my wedding and of
course the second came during his. Through others I have only heard nothing but great things and there is no doubt through my personal interactions with him I can vouch that he is a fabulous person. It truly makes me happy to see two wonderful people come together to share their lives with one another.
In conclusion I would like to point out how beautiful and fulfilled this day was. Everyone involved was awesome and I’m thankful that Kellen and Erin allowed me to be part of their special day. Oh and I have never seen a wedding reception in which everyone…EVERYONE…danced from beginning to end. It was a blast! Congrats to Kellen and Erin and thanks again!
