Below is a little information about the various photography options that I offer. If there is something you need but don’t see below don’t hesitate to reach out. PORTRAITS

FAMILIES, SENIORS, AND EXTENDED FAMILY

There is nothing better than capturing the connection of a family through all their stages of life! Portrait sessions are typically 1-2 hours on location (we will chat about this to be sure it’s right for you). Portrait sessions (family, seniors, kiddos) are $500 and include digital files with print release. Mini sessions are offered seasonally for those that just want quick, updated photos.

Over the past 5 years or so I’ve been taking on more and more extended family sessions and have grown to love them. The mixing of the generations together and those family connections that we don’t always capture on camera. I’ve found with bigger groups that efficiency is key to keeping everyone working toward the end goal! I have a few different spots that work great for bigger groups and would love to work with you to capture your full family. Extended family sessions are $700 and include all digital files with print release.

PRODUCTS, MODELED, AND BRANDING IMAGES

You’ve put your heart into your business and the images you share of your product should reflect that hard work! Let me make your product shine. I had a small, handmade shop for years and know how much work updating photos can be and how valuable it is to have a steady stream of creative images to highlight products!

I’ve worked with small businesses on their individual needs for photography. Whether you’re looking for product images, styled flat lays, lifestyle photos, or some updated branding shots I would love to work with you to grow your business!

NEWBORN

MATERNITY & NEWBORN SESSIONS

The most fleeting stage of life there is. I would love to work with you and your growing family to capture these sweet moments. Maternity sessions will take place on location (we will chat about your personal style to find a location that is perfect for you).

I no longer have a dedicated studio space for newborn sessions so that means most of the time I will come to you! We can do a combination of lifestyle photos in your home or stick to the studio style photos if you prefer (I’ll bring my set up to you). I’m happy to chat more with you about what this will look like and what style you would like your images to reflect!

Maternity sessions start at $250 and newborn sessions start at $550. Drop me a note using the button below for full info and to talk about availability!

the FAQ

We will chat details about what you hope to achieve during your session ahead of time and plan details to ensure we hit those goals. A typical session is 1-2 hours and I recommend using the hours just before sunset for the best lighting for your images. You can’t beat that golden hour look! Once our session is finished up I will touch up your photos and you will receive an email to an online gallery of images within 1-2 weeks.

Yes! We live in a digital age and I include all digital files and print release with our session fee. All files will be available via online download 1-2 weeks after your session. If you’d like these files mailed to you on thumb drive just let me know and we can send them that way, as well.

Absolutely! I’m a big believer in printing your images. Your investment in photography should extend beyond social media sharing. Prints and products are available for purchase through your gallery of images from your session. We also offer session albums/coffee table books if you’d like a professionally printed book to look back on!

This will depend largely on the type of session and the type of images you’re after. Mini sessions will all have a set location (chosen by the photographer), but for full sessions I will work with you on choosing a location that will fit the look you want to achieve! I have lots of spots I like to use and can make suggestions based on the types of images you want. I’m also open to lifestyle images at your home if this is something you’re interested in talking about.

Sadly no. After years of giving up our summer weekends we’ve decided to stop offering big weddings as the main focus of our photography business. If you’re planning a smaller wedding that will require only one photographer and like my shooting style feel free to reach out! I’m also open to second shooting with other photographers if you’re a photographer looking for back up.

    My biggest fear I would say, was not having beautiful and natural looking photos that accurately described how I remember my wedding day. That fear did not come true, as the photos we received are absolutely gorgeous! They really did capture the look and feel of our wedding day so perfectly. They were candid and fun along with having the posed and group photo shoots to really capture every aspect and detail.  My favorite experience was when my husband and I saw each other for the first time before the ceremony and took our couple photos. It was just such an intimate and relaxing session, and Stehvn and Kelly really did an amazing job of making sure every shot was perfect and picking out great locations to shoot.  I would highly recommend Tesar Photography to anyone. They really do such a great job in taking the time to find out what exactly you want, and then going out of their way to make it happen. For instance, catching us in the limo and again at Albertsons after the wedding!  We loved how little of the night felt posed, but what was posed turned out really well!  [Our] biggest fear was that there would be an emergency and because we hired a husband wife team both would be unable to make it. We would have been so bummed not to have them shoot the wedding because we knew we were safe with their style. Clean, timeless, artsy and even just fun photos, but never staged or tacky.
