We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding to end our wedding season this year!  Anticipation truly built leading up to this wedding…not only for the wedding itself, but also for the fact that Nick had been overseas for nearly half of the year serving his country proudly – just another day in the life of a flyboy from the Air Force Academy.  We were fortunate enough to have the opportunity to do Nick & Shelley’s engagement photos just before he was deployed…and at the session an unusual request was made:  they asked that Stehvn officiate their wedding in October at The Linen Building – check it out here for building services.  Being long time family friends with Shelley, Stehvn didn’t hesitate to accept!  It’s not every day that a wedding photographer not only captures the day from behind the lens, but also officially seals a couple’s love in matrimony…what an honor and wonderful experience for Stehvn!

The day started off downtown Boise at The Modern for the girls and Hotel 43 for the guys…a little drizzle of rain and a chilly day didn’t damper any spirits!  The day was simply perfect…wonderful people…a gorgeous venue…beautiful decor (thanks to the talented Bliss)…great food…and lots of dancing!
