We had no idea what to expect from Fin this Halloween…but she sure got into it!  Leading up to Halloween she had some strong opinions about what costumes she was going to wear and which ones she wasn’t.  We started with Cinderella and she insisted for a couple of weeks that she wanted Jasmine.  So…we exchanged for Jasmine and all was well.  Then she started asking for Ariel and up until the time we got to day care Halloween morning she insisted that she wasn’t going to wear Jasmine.  So Halloween morning I dressed her in all black and put kitty ears on her so that if nothing else she could go as a black cat.  Well we show up to day care and she says ‘Hmmm…I think I’ll try Jasmine today.’  So…she did!  They had a party at day care…everyone dressed up and each class paraded around to show off their costumes and followed the parade up with a party and treats.  The babies got pushed around in a big buggy to show off their costumes and Teagan was terrified of it so she had to be carried the whole way!  After naptime Fin decided she wanted to go back to kitty and get her face painted up like her favorite teacher…then later on Jasmine went back on, too…so she ended up with a hybrid costume.  We were worried she wouldn’t wear one costume and she wore two!  After day care/work we stopped at Shanny’s house to trick or treat.  Which of course led to some time in her play room.  Then we went onto Jacki’s house.  Fin hit up a few of Jacki’s neighbors and we were worried we wouldn’t be able to stop her.  After each stop she would turn around and yell ‘more houses!’ and we were onto the next.

At this point she pushed us aside and told us to stay right there and she would be right back…she took trick or treating into her own hands!  So grown up.
