There is no doubt that this had to be one of the most random photo sessions I have ever done.  Two weeks before the session Matt had contacted me and asked if I would take some photos before his big competition and with no history of bodybuilding photos under my belt I jumped at the opportunity to broaden our business’ portfolio.  Here is just a little background with my connection with Matt…

Both Matt and I grew up in the same town, went to the same schools, joined the same fraternity up at the University of Idaho, and have been groomsmen in each other’s weddings.  There is no doubt he has been there through thick and thin in my life and I consider him a brother I never had.  Together we have been called the ‘Twin Towers’ since he stands 6’7” while I stand much shorter at 6’6”.  Though our sizes could be intimidating for some, those who know us quickly learn we act about half our age when we are around each other.

Matt got into lifting in college and has continued ever since.  What is so unique about him is the fact that most bodybuilders do not possess his height.  Though the camera may not portray his height, just remember that  I’m standing taking the photo (6’6” from the ground).  I’m thrilled Matt gave me the opportunity to take his photos and wish him the very best of luck in his upcoming competition!
