I have to admit…this post is part ‘wedding tip’ and part ‘product feature’ for us.  In this post I’m sharing a product that we offer to all of our wedding clients who opt to have their engagement photos taken with us…and that’s a customized guest book for the wedding.  Something a little more personalized and with a bit more personality than the typical pleather bound book with a line for each guest to write their name on.  The way we (Tesar Photography) approach these guest books is we will utilize the engagement photos throughout the book, leaving space on each spread for guests to sign.  We have a few different options that we offer clients, but our most popular style is shown in the photos below where one page is actually left blank for the guests to sign and engagement photos are inserted opposite of the blank page. The black pages give the guest book featured below a modern edge and the MANY cover material options allow you to match the color and style to fit the theme of your wedding…and ultimately your home if you’re planning to use your guest book as a coffee table book later on.

With this style of guest book your guests can sign their name, or leave a note, draw a little something for you…whatever the case may be!  Stehvn and I had a guest book like this at our wedding and actually have it as a coffee table book at our house now…it’s still fun to look back on what everyone wrote and who signed the book!  Incorporating your engagement photos into the book is also a great way to show off your engagement shots to your guests…and I always see guests having a fun time looking through the book at the reception!
